bostwick dune

Dune is a very slow book starting out. In chapter 1 Paul goes through this trial by pain where he has to stick his had in a box than creates pain. Chapter 2 is about the enemies of Paul's family. It is about this fat Barron telling his nephew and head assassin his plans on how he is going to destroy Paul's father and get a lot more money and voting ability. Chapter 3 introduces new characters Paul's teachers. Chapter4 they have moved but in dune you don't move from houses you move from plaints. Paul's father is the new owner of a dessert plaint that produces a rare spice. the spice is also the reason the Barron is going to kill Paul's father.
